Cereal Research Laboratory
OFICE (Oficina de Investigación Cerealista
- Cereal Research Bureau), also known as L.I.C. (Laboratorio de Investigación
Cerealista - Cereal Research Laboratory) was founded in 1947 as a
point of reference for the analysis and testing of wheat, flour and
other cereals for breadmaking.
Over the years, the growing demand for analysis and testing services
meant that the laboratory was extended and consolidated in new
fields of work. It specialised in the areas of agrarian production
and distribution, animal nutrition, human foodstuffs and the pharmaceutical
industry. Specialisation has always been a priority, not only in
analysis but also in professional, technological and legal consulting.
In November 2003, OFICE moved from its old facilities at number
1, C/Gràcia in Barcelona, to the current address in the
town of Castellgalí (Barcelona province), where the premises
extend to approximately 800 m2. This move made it possible for
us to extend our infrastructure, equipment and services, as well
as to improve the quality of our services: our main objective since
the Laboratory was founded in 1947.
